Leading the entry level wind, brass and percussion musicians of the entire organization, Liz Ward presents the team effort necessary to address the needs of these students.

Harp Training Program


Leads the Harp Training program and Harp Ensemble of up to 30 students. 
They hold three performances annually.  Selected students serve as harpists in the TYSA orchestras.

 

Ron Friesen

Associate Conductor
Tacoma Junior Symphony

Bringing 30 years of public music education experience, Ron Friesen guides the students of the TJYS throughout the year, conducting their season finale in the spring.
